Tis the season to watch out for crime

SheriffSheriffBy JASON PATTERSON
Editor & Publisher

As many people travel during the holiday season burglars often try to take advantage of the situation.
Sheriff Jake Sheriff said the holiday season always brings in increased burglary activity, and this year is no exception. Incidents have been reported around the county, and Sheriff is urging residents to look out for their neighbors.
“Neighbors looking out for each other is the most effective way to prevent crime,” Sheriff said. “The most important thing is to report any suspicious activity. It’s better to be safe than sorry.”
