Thanks to Lexie Guion's 12 points and Nora Grace Davis' 11, the Benton Academy Lady Raiders were able to improve to 8-3 on the season with a 41-35 victory over Central Hinds Academy  Thursday.
With a roster containing just one senior (Davis), several juniors and sophomores and a new head coach, one would think that the Lady Raiders would be struggling early in the season, but that is not the case. In fact, head coach Shane Edwards has been quite surprised with his team's performance early on.
