City schools address drugs

By VERNON SIKES
Herald Correspondent

City school officials are trying to figure out the best way to deal with illegal drug problems following a recent incident at Woolfolk Elementary School.
Discussion of the incident came after school board trustee Herman Leach inquired at the beginning of the meeting about illegal drug related problems.
“It is true that we did have a problem at Woolfolk,” said Superintendent Arthur Cartlidge, who called upon Woolfolk Elementary School Principal Elease Lee to brief the board about the incident.
