The Benton Garden Club met on Nov. 3 with a presentation by Dr. Jim Pennington of Vicksburg. His wife Judy accompanied him.
He gave a very interesting program on Shitake mushrooms and how to grow them.
At the end of the meeting he shared his harvest with the members.
The hostesses were Nancy Thomas, Shurley Rae Hearst, and Gigi Mathews.
They served a delicious lunch after the program.
