Indian edge Arrows 44-42, Lady Indians fall 66-52

The Indians and Lady Indians of Yazoo City traveled to Clinton earlier this week to do battle with the Arrows and Lady Arrows of Clinton. The Indians were able to pull out a 44-42 victory but the Lady Indians weren’t as fortunate, dropping a 66-52 decision to the Lady Arrows.
The Indians, now 6-6 overall, trailed by three points (13-10) after one quarter of play but began to cut into the Clinton lead midway through the second quarter. After outscoring Clinton 15-9 in the second quarter, the Indians held a slim 25-22 lead at the half.
Clinton outscored Yazoo City 11-10 in the third quarter and both teams scored nine points apiece in the fourth quarter as Yazoo City was able to sneak out with the win.
