Through the first 11 games of the season, the Manchester Academy Mavericks have had their fair share of struggles on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court.
What they haven’t struggled in, however, has been heart and effort and it’s those two things that head coach Jimmy McGregor says are going to turn things around for the 3-8 Mavericks.
“We haven’t been shooting the ball well. Our shooting percentage is low and we aren’t taking care of the ball,” said McGregor. “Our defense has been pretty good. We just have to start clicking on offense. But the kids are trying hard and have good attitudes.”
