ROBERT ALDERMAN
Robert L. Alderman, 56, died Nov. 27, 2012 at home.
Funeral services were Friday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Howell officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Cemetery.
Mr. Alderman was born Aug. 9, 1956 in Yazoo County to N.L. and Loraine Harold Alderman. He was a truck driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his son, Will Alderman of Yazoo City; daughter, Heather Alderman of Arkansas; mother, Loraine Alderman of Yazoo City; two sisters, Lynn Jones and Wanda Douglas of Yazoo City; brother, James Alderman of Yazoo City; and five grandchildren.

MARY BRISTER
Mary E. Brister, 96, died Nov. 28, 2012 at home.
Funeral services were Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. George Woodliff officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brister was born Sept. 30, 1916 in Yazoo County to Jonas P. and Mary Elliot Edwards. She was a retired kindergarten teacher and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Brister.
Survivors include her sons, William H. Brister Jr. of Houston, Texas and John P. Brister of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Brister Downey of Jackson and Martha Brister Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers were Phil Williams, John Phillips, Griffin Norquist Jr., B Estes and Barry Bridgforth.

CHARLES CORLEY
Charles H. Corley, 73, died Nov. 26, 2012 at home.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Short Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Hutto officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mr. Corley was born Aug. 16, 1939 in Yazoo County to Grover and Annie Bonney Corley. He was a bus driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Frances J. Corley of Yazoo City; a son, Brian Bankston of Ackerman; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Niven of Yazoo City; two stepsons, Jonathan Tubbs and Brian Tubbs of Yazoo City; a brother, Don Corley of Yazoo City; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

GEORGE HILDERBRAND
George Hilderbrand, 63, died Nov. 22, 2012 at home.
Funeral services were Sunday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Purvis and Nathan Carroll officiating.
Burial followed at New Hilderbrand Cemetery.
Mr. Hilderbrand was born Sept. 17, 1949 in Yazoo County to Wallace B. Hilderbrand Sr. and Elora Webb Hilderbrand. He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.B. Hilderbrand Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. W.B. Hilderbrand Sr.; wife, Opal Hilderbrand of Bentonia; son, Allen Hilderbrand of Bentonia;  a daughter, Angelica Jones (Jerry); two stepdaughters, Lynda Gary and Teresa Alexander (James), both of Yazoo City; a brother, W.B. Hilderbrand Jr.  (Donna) of Bentonia; three sisters, Kay Guthrie (Skip) and Betty Jennings (Mike) of Yazoo City and Patricia Thrasher (Derrald) of Bentonia; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Guthrie, Robbie White, Ricky Bradshaw, Kenny Lyons, Terry Bradshaw and Harold Sprague.
