GRACIE BRASWELL
Gracie Pugh Braswell, 72, died Nov. 4, 2012 at her home in Pearl.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Braswell was born Aug. 10, 1940 to Grady Pugh and Loretta Pugh King in Sharkey County. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Sue Paul of Pearl; brother, Charles Pugh (Ruth) of Church Hill, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jordan Brewer, Matt Brewer, Jennifer Paul Skeen, Mitchell Paul and LeClaire Paul Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

REV. CALVIN KNIGHT
Rev. Calvin Knight, 64, died Nov. 6, 2012 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were Saturday at Galille M.B. Church in Benton. Burial followed at Days Cemetery in Bentonia under the direction of Knight & Lindsey Funeral Home.
Rev. Knight was born Nov. 14, 1947 in Yazoo County to Sammie and Maggie Coleman Knight. He was the pastor at Galilee and Union M.B. churches and the owner of Knight & Lindsey Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Annie B. Knight of Yazoo City; a son, Calvin Knight Jr. of Jackson; brothers, Albert Knight (Liza) of Benton and Herbert Knight (Carolyn) of Jackson; sisters, Enola Robinson of Yazoo City, Lorene King (Walter) of Benton and Earlean Allen of Muskegon, Mich.; grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
