Tri-County Academy has dominated the opposition all season.
The first round of the playoffs was no different as the Rebels defeated Tunica 41-14. The defending state champions are now 11-0 and ready to take on district rival Winona Christian in round two of the Class A Playoffs.
TCA defeated Winona (7-5) 35-0 during the regular season.
Ryan Cothern led the Rebels with 154 yards on just five carries for three touchdowns, including a 77-yard rush. Cothern also scored on a 33-yard rush and a 45-yard run.
Quarterback Trey Bozeman scored on a 15-yard keeper and connected with Lawson Varner for a 40-yard touchdown pass.
In addition to the receiving touchdown, Varner also had a 19-yard rushing touchdown.
