SECTION LAND
The undersigned will receive sealed bids until 2:00 o’clock p.m., Thursday,  November 8, for the following agricultural lease for a period of five (5) years, beginning January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2017.
1. SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 12, RANGE 1 EAST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 12, Range 1 East, containing approximately 190.2 acres, currently leased to Nolan O’Reilly.
NOTE:     By order of the Board of Education, advance payment of lease and certification of  Insurability will be required on all leases, due upon execution of Contract. (within fifteen days of awarding lease) 5% of bid amount will be made payable in the form of cashier’s check or money order at the time of bid. (Refundable if bid not successful)  A security deposit in the amount of 1 year’s tax will be paid at the execution of the Contract.
The County Board of Education reserves the right to execute timber deeds; oil, gas and mineral leases; and deed for rights of way serving power, gas, telephone lines and public roads.    
All leases will be subject to the laws of  Mississippi  regarding the use of timber upon Sixteenth Section lands.
Lessees will be required to indemnify and hold harmless Lessor from any and all damages, claims or rights of action of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of any acts of Lessees, their agents,  servants, employees,  guests or invitees,  in the exercise of the rights granted in said lease.  Lessee will also be required to procure general liability insurance in an amount to be determined by Lessor which will name Lessor as an insured under said policy or policies to protect Lessor from any and all damages or claims arising out of Lessees acts in the exercise of the rights granted under said lease.
Bid forms shall be secured from the Office of the County Superintendent of Education.  All bids are required to be submitted on such form.
Each bidder must satisfy the Board of Education as to his ability to comply with  the term of his bid.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.

Sealed proposals, in duplicate, for the Partial Restoration of Pugh-Blundell House, Yazoo City, Mississippi, will be received in the office of Robert Parker Adams, Architect in Jackson, Mississippi, until 1:30 p.m., November 29, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Specifications may be obtained from Robert Parker Adams Architect, P.A.; 219 North Lamar, Jackson, Mississippi; upon deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each set.  This deposit is refundable to each actual prime bidder on return of each set in good condition within ten (10) days after opening of bids, except for Twenty-Five dollars ($25.00) to cover cost of reproduction will be deducted for each set in excess of one (1) from an actual prime bidder and from those prime bidders who do not return Specifications in acceptable condition within the ten day limit.  All other deposits will be refunded less cost of reproduction.
Proposals must be submitted on the form as shown in the Specifications, pages FP-1 and FP-2 and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of at least five (5%) percent of the Base Bid, made payable to the Owner, The Restoration and Beautification Foundation.
Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract will be required for contract security.
No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder acceptable to the Owner, except that the right is reserved to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
