Raiders dominate Central Holmes

It was expected to be an offensive showdown, but Benton Academy’s defense had other plans.
The Raiders defense dominated the normally explosive Trojans offense to defeat Central Holmes 46-6 Friday.
Offensive production was not a problem for the Raiders, however.
Kent Manor scored three touchdowns to lead the convincing victory and secure the right to host the first playoff game.
Manor scored early in the first quarter on a two-yard dive up the middle to give the Raiders a 7-0 lead with Jason Berry’s PAT kick. He scored again on a 14-yard rush with 6:08 left in the first, and Berry added his second extra point kick of the night.
