Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Harris exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Zachary HarrisMr. and Mrs. Zachary HarrisMr. and Mrs. Robert Clark Cato, formerly of Yazoo City and now of Birmingham, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Causey Nicholson Cato to Mr. Zachary Hamilton Harris of Ocean Springs.
Causey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Cato of Yazoo City and of the late Dr. and Mrs. W.K. Stewart of Pass Christian.
Zachary is the son of Judge and Mrs. David Neil Harris of Ocean Springs and is the grandson of Mrs. I.W. Harris of Marietta, Ga., the late Mr. Harris and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Sowell of Mobile, Ala.
Causey is an honor graduate of Manchester Academy who then attended Mississippi State University, where she earned a BA degree in Art and Design. While attending Mississippi State, Causey especially enjoyed attending Reformed University Fellowship.
Zachary is a graduate of Ocean Springs High School. He especially enjoyed scouting, working his way up to Eagle Scout and then working  for several summers at Filmont Boy Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He attended Mississippi State University majoring in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Sculpture and graduating with a BA degree.
The couple were married on September 22, 2012 in the First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs. The ceremony was performed by Brian Sorgenfrei, the RUF campus minister of Mississippi State University.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attending the bride as Maid of Honor was the bride’s sister, Sterling Carter Cato. Serving as junior bridesmaids were cousins of the bride, Elson Grace Stewart, Bradford Lillian Stewart and Frances McClaren Stewart.
Timothy Kent Striegel, best friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Stewart Cato, Caleb Cato and Elijah Cato, brothers of the bride, served as ushers.
Flower girl was Mary Swinton Harris, niece of the groom, and ring bearer was Robert Jensen Cato, cousin of the bride.
Bob Cato, grandfather of the bride, read scripture.
The reception was held at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi and was enjoyed by a host of family and friends.
The couple will be residing in Ocean Springs.
