There is a lot of excitement brewing around the Manchester Academy softball camp. Although first year head coach Russell Cruise hasn’t had a chance to evaluate the entire team this summer, the girls haven’t wasted anytime in getting ready for 2010.

“There’s been a lot of interest and the girls are really working hard,” Cruise said.

Two separate practices were set up, one in the morning and in the evening covering some of the basics of hitting including soft toss and tees before having a live pitcher.
