Manchester Academy didn't let all the homecoming festivities distract them one bit from what needed to be done Friday night.
The Mavericks defeated Porters Chapel (3-7) with the halftime score being 28-6 in Mavericks' favor before finally defeating them by a score of 45-6 with the clock running in the fourth quarter.
Caleb Grey rushed for 120 yards on two touchdowns, one of them being a 50-yard  gallup right through the middle of the Panther defense.
