Jones County Junior College men's soccer player Kyle Upchurch received a Presidential Scholar-Athlete during the school's spring athletic banquet May 1. Upchurch, a sophomore from Terry, had a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Upchurch is pictured receiving his award from JCJC President Jesse Smith. Kyle is the son of Kevin and Margie Upchurch of Byram. He is the grandson of James and Elouise Upchurch of Yazoo City.
