The Yazoo BASSMasters held a tournament recently at Ross Barnett Reservoir. The weather conditions were on the chilly side in the morning, but warmed up considerably in the afternoon.
The fishing, however, was extremely tough. Here are the Top 3 from that event.
1. Rick Morgan: 2 bass Total weight: 3lbs. 8oz. Big bass was 2lbs. 4oz.
2. Richard Morgan: 1 bass. Total weight: 2lbs. 4oz.
3. Bert McDaniel Sr.: 1 bass. Total weight: 2lbs. 2oz.
As for me, I finished 4th with a 1lb. 3oz. bass. The productive lures were crankbaits, buzzbaits, shakey-head soft plastics, & topwater frogs.
