The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Human Services are investigating a case in which a child suffered potentially life threatening injuries.
Deputies traveled the intersection at U.S. Highway 49 and Anding-Oil City Road Wednesday around 5 p.m. to block traffic so the helicopter could land to transport the child to University Medical Center in Jackson.
