Miss Helen Duell and William EdgarMr. and Mrs. Marshall Duell Jr. of Yazoo City announce the engagement of their daughter, Helen Rennae Duell, to William Edwin Edgar, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Edgar III of Yazoo City.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Selma McBeth and the late Earl McBeth of Yazoo City and Mrs. Mary Stewart of Decatur and Mr. Marshall Duell Sr. of Quitman.
Miss Duell is a 2008 graduate of Yazoo County High School. She is presently employed at the Pampered Pooch in Yazoo City.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Mollie Edgar and the late A. E. Edgar Jr. of Yazoo City and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Elkin Hearst of Benton.
Mr. Edgar is a 1997 graduate of Manchester Academy.  He earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Delta State University. He is employed as associate producer at WBYP Power 107 in Yazoo City.
The couple will exchange vows October 20, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Daryll Oster will officiate the double ring ceremony.  
A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
No invitations are being sent locally. All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
