The Four Seasons Garden Club met in the home of Jeanne Santmyer for the first meeting of the year.
Co-hostesses were Ava Hale and Molly McNair.
The president Jeanne Santmyer welcomed Betty Kyle as a new member.
Several announcements were also shared with the club. The Landscape Design Symposium will be at Mississippi State University on Oct. 17. Linda McDonald said she will be attending the Fall District Meeting of the River Road District. The Garden Club of Jackson will have a flower show at the Mississippi Museum of Art on Oct. 12-13. Four Seasons Garden Club and Lintonia Garden Club will host the Spring District meeting on June 13.
Nancy Williams introduced Nettie Byrd, who gave a design program. She used material only found in her yard.
It was a great program since it was show and tell.
