Hitt scores twice, but Mavs fall at Indianola

By ALEX LAKE
Sports Editor

Sophomore Wister Hitt scored two touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball and led the team with 10 tackles, but all of that wasn’t enough to stop Indianola from trouncing the Mavericks 40-21.
The loss drops the Mavs’ record 3-4 overall and 1-1 in league play.
“We’re going to have to play  better defense,” head coach Benny McLendon said.
