Riverside became the latest victim at “The Swamp” Friday as Yazoo County wrapped up a four-game home stretch with a 39-0 victory.
Devontea White grabbed a pass from quarterback Micheal Collum and raced 80 yards to the endzone to kick things off with a 6-0 lead with 9:47 to go in the first.
Not to be outdone, Aaron Hudson added an 80-yard rushing touchdown to give the Panthers a 12-0 lead that would stand headed into the second quarter.
Riverside was threatening to score early in the second quarter when Shamar Sawyer grabbed an interception on the three yard line.
A few plays later Collum connected with White for an 85-yard touchdown pass.
