Miss Hogue to wed Nettles Aug. 7
Miss Kenna Laine Hogue and Philip Arthur NettlesJames and Rita Hogue of Clinton are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kenna Laine Hogue, to Philip Arthur Nettles, son of Dr. Bill and Alice Nettles of Jackson, Tenn.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rowena Drinkwater and the late Fred Drinkwater of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Doyle Hood of Benton and Mrs. Earline Hogue and the late A.B. “Happy” Hogue of Benton.
She is a 2005 graduate of Clinton High School and a 2009 graduate of Delta State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.
She is currently enrolled at the University of South Alabama, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs Archie Germany of Clinton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nettles of Brandon.
He is a 2005 graduate of Clinton High School and a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He is employed at Mobile Pulley Works in Mobile, Ala.
The couple will exchange vows on Aug. 7, 2010 at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church chapel in Clinton.
The Rev. Ken Anderson, pastor of Parkway Baptist Church, will officiate the double ring ceremony.
A reception will follow at Anderson Hall on the Mississippi College campus.
The couple will honeymoon to Canada and will reside in Mobile, Ala.
Friends and family are invited to attend.
