Three arrested on meth charges

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

Three Yazoo County residents were arrested this week on their way to make methamphetamine.
Jimmy Eugene Banks, Melissa Potter and Kimberly Surface were all charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine.
The three were arrested Wednesday on Highway 3.
“Officers were notified by a local business that these subjects had purchased items commonly used for making crystal meth,” Chief Eric Snow said.
