Friday night’s battle with Winston Academy was an experience the Mavericks are eager to put behind them.
Winston defeated Manchester 42-0 in a game in which the Mavericks were plagued by injuries.
Despite some big plays and a strong effort, Manchester was unable to find the endzone.
The Mavericks defense also found itself in the unfamiliar position of being unable to stop an opponent as the Patriots utilized a diverse offensive attack.
The Patriots improved to 2-3 with the win, while Manchester fell to 2-3.
This week the Mavericks hit the road to face Carroll Academy.
