Things looking bright for Indians baseball

Things will be looking much brighter soon at Yazoo City High School's baseball field, thanks to a great deal of planning, and sizeable contributions from individuals and Yazoo City's Public Service Commission.
Briggs Hopson, board attorney for the Yazoo City School Board, announced at last Thursday's city school board meeting that Cooper Lighting of Vicksburg had offered to provide the necessary lights and crossbars. Additionally, Superintendent Dr. Arthur Cartlidge said Public Service Commission (PSC) will donate the poles for the lights and will install the poles.
