County adopts budget

The Yazoo County Board of Supervisors approved a budget Monday that will increase property taxes 3.78 mills countywide by a 3-2 vote.
District 4 Supervisor Jayne Dew and District 1 Supervisor Caleb Rivers voted against approving the budget.
District 2 Supervisor David Berry, District 3 Supervisor Willie Wright and District 5 Supervisor Cobie Collins voted for approval.
