Heading into Friday night’s match up, it seemed like this might be the year Benton Academy would give Tri-County a serious challenge for the district crown that has belonged to the Rebels in recent years.
In the first half the Raiders did just that.
After two competitive quarters, Tri-County led 13-6 at halftime. Benton was even pushing toward the endzone as time expired.
The Rebels dominated the second half, however, for a convincing 40-6 victory.
