ROSEMARY SAVERY
Rosemary Stoner Savery, 88, died peacefully in her sleep Aug. 23, 2012 at The Blake in Ridgeland.
Funeral services were Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Horton and Rev. Bill Poole officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Savery was a longtime resident of Holly Bluff and had lived in Yazoo City since 1976. She had been a resident of The Blake for the last year and a half. She was the pianist and organist for Holly Bluff Methodist Church and sometimes played the organ for services at The Blake. She loved to knit, sew, dance and travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lacy S. Stoner; and by one granddaughter, Suzanne Savery Barrier.
Survivors include a daughter, Sally S. Woodard of Holly Bluff; a son, Charles E. “Charlie” Savery III of Jackson, Tenn.; a daughter, Mary S. “Tweedie” Huff of Madison; daughter, Lacie S. Coleman of Bentonia; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were her five grandsons and one great-grandson. Memorials may made to Holly Bluff United Methodist Church or CARA, 960 Flag Chapel Rd., Jackson, MS, 39209.

HELEN WRIGHT

Helen Ruth Wright, 83, of Indianola died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Bolivar Medical Center.  
Funeral services were Friday at Inverness Methodist Church. Burial followed at Hickory Grover Cemetery in Inverness under the direction of Ray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright was born March 9, 1929, to Frank Lorenzo Weeks and Clarice Murrell Weeks. She had 12 brothers and sisters.  She loved gospel music, and spending time gardening, reading, sewing, and crocheting.  Mrs. Wright was a Lab Tech and an X-ray Tech for 30 years. Mrs. Wright was also a member of the Inverness Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Demetra Weeks; husband, Bennie Barnett Wright, Sr. and her parents, Frank and Clarice Weeks.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Bruner of Madison, Lynette Wright Grimmett (Mack) of Indianola, and Paulette Wright Kilpatrick (Mike) of Yazoo City; a son, Dr. Bennie Wright, Jr. (Millie) of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mack Grimmett, Mike Kilpatrick, Justin Kilpatrick, Sammie Bell, Shane Kilpatrick, and T.J. Kilpatrick.  
Honorary pallbearer was Derrick Bruner.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
