Miss Harper to wed Kerr on Sept. 22
Mr. and Mrs. Tommy R. Harper of Yazoo City announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Rayna Harper, to Mr. Jason Thomas Kerr of Rolling Fork, son of J.T, Kerr Jr. and Kay Kerr of Mayersville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. E.D. Harper and the late Mrs. Inez Allread of Isola, the late Mr. William Tolliver Stanford and Marcell Stanford of Yazoo City.
Miss Harper, a graduate of Manchester Academy in Yazoo City, also earned a degree in Radiology with a specialization in Nuclear Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is currently employed as a nuclear medicine tech at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. John Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Kerr of Tallula and the late Mr. Murry Lawrence Martin and Mary Lou Martin of Utica.
He is a graduate of Sharkey-Issaquena Academy in Rolling Fork, and Mississippi Delta Community College with a degree in Industrial Electrity.
The couple will exchange vows in a small, private family wedding at Valewood Plantation on Saturday, September 22.
