Gerald Lampkin scored twice in the first quarter, and the Panthers defense held off a late rally to give Yazoo County a 14-7 win Friday at Germantown.
Friday marked the second straight week the Panthers defense has delivered a solid performance. Linebackers Stephen Matory, Justin Henderson and Corey Spires led the effort.
