ROSEMARY SAVERY
Rosemary Stoner Savery, 88, died peacefully in her sleep Aug. 23, 2012 at The Blake in Ridgeland.
Funeral services were Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Horton and Rev. Bill Poole officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Savery was a longtime resident of Holly Bluff and had lived in Yazoo City since 1976. She had been a resident of The Blake for the last year and a half. She was the pianist and organist for Holly Bluff Methodist Church and sometimes played the organ for services at The Blake. She loved to knit, sew, dance and travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lacy S. Stoner; and by one granddaughter, Suzanne Savery Barrier.
Survivors include a daughter, Lacey S. Woodard of Holly Bluff; a son, Charles E. “Charlie” Savery III of Jackson, Tenn.; a daughter, Mary S. “Tweedie” Huff of Madison; daughter, Lacie S. Coleman of Bentonia; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were her five grandsons and one great-grandson. Memorials may made to Holly Bluff United Methodist Church.

WILLIAM SPIRES
William Cleotha Spires, 60, died Aug. 20, 2012.
Funeral services were Saturday at Scott Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Townsel officiating.
Mr. Spires was born Dec. 30, 1951 in Yazoo County to McKinley and Catherine R. Spires. He attended Gibbs High School until he moved in 1969 and earned his high school diploma from Dew Continuation School in Oakland, Calif. He was employed at Todd Shipyard and for a pharmaceutical company for many years before moving back to Yazoo City.
Survivors include his sister, Barbara White Preston (Oliver) of Oakland, Calif.; brothers, Willie D. Roberts (Aslee) of Byram and John Roberts and Andrew James Spires, both of Vicksburg, four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

ENDER TURKSON
Ender Ann Turkson, 60, died July 29, 2012.
Funeral services were Aug. 8 at White Diamond Funeral Home in Anaheim, Calif. with Rev. Robert Simms officiating.
Mrs. Turkson was born in Chicago on Sept. 3, 1951to the late Charles White and Matteel Muse. She graduated from elementary and high school in Yazoo City before majoring in psychology at Jackson State University. After graduating she moved to Los Angeles, where she married Francis A. Turkson Jr.
Survivors include her brother, Edgar Muse of Yazoo City; sons, Francis Turkson III (Tangie) of Jacksonville and Corey Turkson of Los Angeles; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

WILLIAM WILSON
William “Randy” Randolph Wilson, 60, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center after a short Illness.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, La. with a memorial service for the family to be held in Yazoo City.
Mr. Wilson was born Aug. 1, 1952 in Yazoo City to William Luther Wilson Jr. and Mary Alice Nave Wilson Carter. He was the second of nine children. He worked as an electrician for many years in Oklahoma and moved to Louisiana in 2003 when his father passed away. He was working as an electrician in the Ponchatoula area.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Luther Wilson Jr.; and a brother, Howard Alan Wilson.
Survivors include his daughters, Rachel Lynn Rose of Tulsa, Okla., Kaylynn Rachelle Wilson of Fort Collins, Co., Amanda Mae Wilson O’Leary of Waynesboro, Va. and April Davis of North Fort Myers, Fla.; mother, Mary Alice Wilson Carter; seven siblings, Sheila Coody (William) of Broken Arrow, Okla., Angela Knight (Lynn) of Benton, Audy Wilson of Ponchatoula, La., Neal Wilson (Linda) of Pine Grove, La. and Danita Brown, Lynette VanCleave and Lynelle Davis, all of Yazoo City; and three grandchildren, Desiree, Christian and Layla.
