City seeks to address Shady Lane complaints

CollinsCollinsBy JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

The mold problem at Shady Lane Apartment Complex was revisited during the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting this week.
The Yazoo Herald published an article last week about the black mold problem at the local apartment complex that some tenants say has not been addressed since it was first discovered a year ago.
Cobie Collins, president of the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors, appeared before the city board Monday afternoon requesting research into what can be done for the residents living inside the mold-infested apartment units.
