Shamar Sawyer joins NSHSS

The National Society of High School Scholars recently selected Shamar Sawyer to become a member after participating in the Global Young Leaders State Conference.
NSHSS was founded by Mr. Claes Nobel, whose family established the world-renowned Nobel Prizes that reward individuals and organizations for world betterment. NSHSS also provides members with a variety of opportunities and resources, including access to scholarships leaderships development programs, service activities, and exclusive discounts. NSHSS has awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarships, with over $300,000 to be awarded this academic year.
Sawyer will also have the opportunity to apply to participate in one of the group’s newest programs to become an NSHSS Ambassador. The NSHSS Ambassadors are eligible to compete for additional scholarships awarded by NSHSS.
Sawyer is the son of Carolyn Anderson of Benton and Leroy Sawyer of Vaughan.
