North Street  resembled the Old West Tuesday night as a tenant and a landlord engaged in a shootout.
Maurice Davis was charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly shot his landlord.
Cpt. Larry Davis said the gunfight occurred on North Street Tuesday around 10 p.m.
“A tenant (Davis) and a landlord got into a shootout after an altercation that happened earlier in the day,” Larry Davis said. “Guns eventually were displayed, and they shot each other.”
The landlord was shot in the back.
