The Henry Herschel Brickell Memorial Literary Walkway at the Ricks Memorial Library continues to grow with the recent addition of ten new authors.
Over 100 published Yazooan writers are included on the brick walkway that pays homage to Brickell, a native son who traveled the world as a writer, literary critic, scholar and editor.
“We try to recognize people from Yazoo who made literary contributions,” said John Ellzey, reference librarian and local historian. “We honor writers, photographers, publishers, newspaper people and others.”
