SALLY DANIELS
Sally Jean Daniels, 93, died on July 21, 2012 at the Martha Coker Green Houses in Yazoo City.
Funeral services were held Monday with Rev. Robert Ragland and Rev. Tom Metcalf officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Daniels was born on Feb. 15, 1919 in Pickens. She was a member of Straight Bayou Baptist Church. She was a retired teller at Planters Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tom Daniels of Louise; son, Max Henry Daniels of Jackson; her parents; and eight siblings.
Survivors include her son, Glen (Barbara) Daniels of Louise; four grandchildren, Marc (Sandra) Daniels of Jackson, Tim (Staci) Daniels of Madison, Stephen Daniels of Hilton Head, S.C. and Melissa Daniels of Louise; and three great grandchildren, Morgan, Spencer and Cameron Daniels.
DAVID INGRAM
David Earl Ingram, 52, of Bentonia died Monday, July 9, 2012 at home.
Funeral services were July 13 at First Baptist Church of Braxton with burial in the Braxton Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Ingram of Bentonia; father, Edward Ingram (Shirley) of Braxton; mother, Margaret Gainey of Yazoo City; sons, Ray Rose of McCalla, Ala. and James David Ingram of Yazoo City; daughters: Samantha Gordon (Bubba) of Benton, Chelsie Marie Brister of Helena, Ala.; brother, Wayne Campbell (Carla) of Oak Grove, Ala.; sisters: Candice Ingram of Metairie, La. and Julie Cader (Michael) of Yazoo City and two grandchildren, Maggie and Brelynn Gordon of Benton.
MARY JONES
Mary L. Jones, 82, of Bentonia, died on July 19, 2012 at King’s Daughters Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Jon Vanlandingham officiating. Burial followed at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones was born on Dec. 19, 1929 in Arkansas of John York and Mattie Newton. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jones; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her four sons, Gerald Jones of Bentonia, Samuel Jones of Flora, William Jones of Vicksburg and Ernest Jones Jr. of Natchez; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Thomas Jerry McCoy, William Blake Jones, Gregory Patrick Jones, Lloyd Matthew Jones, William Robert Angle III and Cristopher Dale Angle.
