Evie D. Denton, 86, died Monday, July 17, 2012 at King’s Daughters Hospital.
Funeral services are today at 11 a.m. at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wilkinson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Denton was born Jan 15, 1926 in Neshoba County to Less and Gladys Watson. She was a homemaker and a Pentacostal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Chapman; and a brother, Claude Watson.
Survivors include a son, Sammy Chapman of Yazoo City; a daughter, Barbara Fields of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
David Earl Ingram, 52, of Bentonia died Monday, July 9, 2012 at home.
Funeral services were July 13 at First Baptist Church of Braxton with burial in the Braxton Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Ingram of Bentonia; father, Edward Ingram (Shirley) of Braxton; mother: Margaret Gainey of Yazoo City; sons, Ray Rose of McCalla, Ala. and James David Ingram of Yazoo City; daughters: Samantha Gordon (Bubba) of Benton, Chelsie Marie Brister of Helena, Ala. and Ashley Ragland (Robert); brother, Wayne Campbell (Carla) of Oak Grove, Ala.; sisters: Candice Ingram of Monterey, La. and Julie Cader (Michael) of Yazoo City and two grandchildren, Maggie and Brelynn Gordon of Benton.
Robert Wheeler, 57, died July 5, 2012.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Scott Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Freeman officiating.
Mr. Wheeler was born Aug. 5, 1954 to the late Zettie Foreman and Johnny Wheeler. He attended Linwood School.
Survivors include a sister; Rosie L. Morris of Yazoo City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Robert Morris, Calvin Morris, Curtis Morris and Robert Thymer.
