Jamison recognized for extra effort
Gloria Jamison, principal of the Yazoo County Junior High School, was recently recognized by parent Patricia Carson for her work with Carson’s son, Baker. Baker was diagnosed with autism when he was a toddler. Carson would also like to recognize teachers Pauline Sawyer and Stacy Atkinson and superintendent Becky Fisher for their dedication to her son. For others dealing with similar intellectual development delays, CEO and founder Peters O-Koye’ has introduced Support Living Inc. within the community. The organization offers behavior therapy and attendant care, which is covered by Medicaid. For more information, call 601-500-7706.
