The Yazoo City Housing Authority will hold a public hearing to obtain comments on its FY 2013 Public Housing Authority Agency Plan to be presented to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Said hearing will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the Housing Authority office, 121 Lindsey Lawn Drive, Yazoo City, Mississippi.
The Agency Plan identifies on a five-year basis goals and strategies of the Housing Authority as required by the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998.  Said Agency Plan is available for inspection by the public at the Housing Authority office, 121 Lindsey Lawn Drive, Yazoo City, Mississippi, during office hours.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BUDGET
A public hearing as required by law will be conducted by the Yazoo County School Board on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, prior to the Recessed Board Meeting.  The purpose of the hearing is to give the citizens of the Yazoo County School District an opportunity to comment on the expenditures and taxing plans of the district.  Items to be discussed are the District’s Budget, Special Education Funding, Preschool Funding as well as Federal Program Funding for Fiscal Year 2013.
The meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex in the Boardroom of the Yazoo County Board of Supervisor’s Office.  The hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m.

TO THE PUBLIC AND TO THE TAXPAYERS OF YAZOO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI:
Pursuant to Mississippi Code Annotated Section 27-35-83, you are hereby notified that the real and personal property assessment rolls of the above named county, for the year 2012 have been equalized according to law, and that said rolls are ready for inspection and examination and that any objections to said rolls or any assessment therein contained, shall be made in writing and filed with the clerk of the Board of Supervisors of said County, on or before the 6th day of August, 2012, by 10:00 a.m., at his office adjacent to the Courthouse of said county, and that all assessments to which no objection is then and there made, will be finally approved by said Board of Supervisors, and that all assessments to which objection is made, and which may be coerced and properly determined by this Board, will be made final by this Board of Supervisors, and that said rolls and the assessments contained therein will be approved by this Board of Supervisors; and that,
1. This Board will be in session, for the purpose of hearing objections to the said assessments which may be filed, in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in the annex to the Yazoo County Courthouse, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, on the 6th day of August, 2012, and,
2. This Board of Supervisors will remain in session from day to day until all objections, lawfully filed, shall have been disposed of and all proper corrections made in the said rolls.
