Charges dismissed against robbery suspect

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

Charges against the second suspect involved in the armed robbery of the Shell gas station were dismissed this week.
Issac Cowans, 18, turned himself into authorities last Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest three weeks ago. He was charged with strong armed robbery.
Judge John Donaldson dismissed the charges Monday.
“Due to lack of evidence, charges were dismissed without prejudice,” said Chief Eric Snow. “We hope to bring him back with DNA evidence found at the scene.”
