Eva Anderson graduates from MSA

Eva Stuart Anderson, of Yazoo City, graduated from Mississippi School of the Arts on May 24, 2012.
The commencement was held at Aylene and Adene Hurst Auditorium at Southwest Community College in Summit.
Eva has the honor of being Yazoo County’s first MSA graduate.
Eva plans to pursue degrees in psychology and creative writing beginning this fall at Hinds Community College in Raymond and continuing her education at Mississippi University for Women.
Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA) is an eleventh and twelfth grade visual and performing arts residential, public high school located in Brookhaven.
Students must meet traditional Mississippi high school curriculum, but receive special instructions in their discipline of choice.
MSA offers programs in visual arts, vocal music, dance, literary arts and theatre. Students interested in MSA must apply in their sophomore year.
Eva is the daughter of Suzanne Anderson and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Myers of Yazoo City and Mrs. Jo Anderson of Anguilla.
