Within 36 hours, officers arrested one of the suspects involved with the armed robbery at Shell last week thanks to several tips from concerned citizens.
Cornelius Stuckey was charged with strong armed robbery.
“We received numerous tips from concerned citizens in reference to the alleged suspect who robbed the Shell station,” said Capt. Tilmon Clifton. “Detectives and officers followed several leads after the robbery.”
Two suspects wearing masks entered the Shell station late last Wednesday evening. After displaying weapons and demanding money from the clerk, the two black males fled the scene with money.
Through tips and a detailed investigation, Stuckey was arrested Friday.
