By JASON PATTERSON
Editor & Publisher

Jayne Dew is running for the District 4 supervisor seat that her late husband held for 20 years.
Dew, who has been serving as District 4 Supervisor since Ed Dew died in February, qualified Tuesday to run in the November 6 election.
Dew joins candidates Matt Edgar, Dale Lakes, Paul Parker, Thomas Shipp, R.W. “Butch” Smith and Kenneth Winstead in the race.
Circuit Clerk Robert Coleman said the deadline to qualify for the election is Sept. 7.
