The County Board of Education reserves the right to execute timber deeds; oil, gas and mineral leases; and deed for rights of way serving power, gas, telephone lines and public roads.
All leases will be subject to the laws of Mississippi regarding the use of timber upon Sixteenth Section lands.
Lessees will be required to indemnify and hold harmless Lessor from any and all damages, claims or rights of action of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of any acts of Lessees, their agents, servants, employees, guests or invitees, in the exercise of the rights granted in said lease. Lessee will also be required to procure general liability insurance in an amount to be determined by Lessor which will name Lessor as an insured under said policy or policies to protect Lessor from any and all damages or claims arising out of Lessees acts in the exercise of the rights granted under said lease.
Bid forms shall be secured from the Office of the County Superintendent of Education. All bids are required to be submitted on such form.
Each bidder must satisfy the Board of Education as to his ability to comply with the term of his bid.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.

INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR DUMP TRUCKS, MOTOR GRADERS AND BACKHOES
Sealed bids will be received by the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors up to and until no later than June 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. for one (1) single axle dump truck, nine (9) tandem axle dump truck, five (5) motor graders, and eight (8) backhoes. Bid specifications and requirements for said dump trucks, motor graders and backhoes may be obtained from the Yazoo County Administrator’s Office, 211 E. Broadway, Yazoo City, MS. Any bids submitted in response to this invitation must be sealed and delivered to the Yazoo County Chancery Clerk’s Office, 211 E. Broadway, Yazoo City, MS. All bids submitted will be opened and considered by the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors in its regular meeting room located at 211 E. Broadway, Yazoo City, MS at 2:00 p.m. on June 28, 2012. The right to accept or reject any and all bids is reserved.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Yazoo County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids until 10:00 a.m. on July 2, 2012, for the furnishing to Yazoo County, Mississippi, for a period of six (6) months beginning July 2, 2012, of the following items, specifications for which are on file with the Clerk of this Board:
Asphalt – all types – liquid, all grades – Hot Mix (includes hauling and laying down);
Bridges – concrete;
Culverts and pipe – concrete, metal, polymer, aluminized, and plastic (includes box culvert);
Rip Rap – stone – all sizes;
Wash gravel and sand – matt and seal – Size VI and VII;
Light Aggregate – matt and seal – Size VI and VII;
Crushed Rock.
At said time and place and for said term, the Board will also receive bids for the amount to be added as service call to repair tires on county vehicles.
Sealed bids must be delivered to the Clerk of this Board at the Chancery Clerk’s Office in Yazoo City, Mississippi, at any time prior to the time set for the receiving of said bids. The Board will open and consider the bids at the Board of Supervisors’ Room in the addition to the Chancery Clerk’s Building shortly after the time set for the receiving of said bids. Any venders submitting bids must certify in their bids that they are not suspended or de-barred from obtaining federal government contracts.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
