LOUISE BOONE
Louise L. Boone, 104, of Lexington, died June 5, 2012 at Holmes County Hospital.  
Funeral services will be held today at Browns Methodist Church in Jackson, Tenn.  at 2p.m.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.  
Mrs. Boone was born on October 26, 1907 to the late Chris Lassiter and the late Hattie Jones in Madison County.  She  owned a children’s clothing store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Echols Boone; and her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie B. Flowers of Action, Mass.; two granddaughters, Beth Smith of Lexington  and Margaret Todd of Austin, Texas; and five great grandchildren.

WILBURN FOUCHE
Wilburn Holmes Fouché, 73, of Somerville, born to the late Walter and Allene Fouché of Yazoo City, died May 26, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown.  He was a devoted and active member of Wesley Chapel C.M.E. church.  He earned a B.S. in Business from then Tennessee A&I University and a M.N.A. from Texas Southern University.  He was a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.  He worked at several colleges during his lifetime including Alcorn, MSCU, Kentucky State, Lemoyne-Owen and Morris Brown.  
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Doris; one daughter, Twyla McBride (Marlon); one grandson, Matthew McBride whom he affectionately called “Bobo”; one sister, Precious Banks of Yazoo City, two brothers, Winston Fouché of St. Louis, MO, David Fouché (Burnette) of Jackson, MS; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Visitation was held May 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Wesley Chapel C.M.E church.  Alpha Phi Alpha Omega service followed visitation.  
Services were held May 31, 11 a.m. at Wesley Chapel C.M.E. Church with burial following.  

FANNIE GERALDS
Fannie Wilson Geralds, 101, died June 1, 2012.  
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, at 1 a.m. at Mt. Nebo M.B. Church with Rev. Darryl Phillips officiating in Bentonia.  Burial will be at Cypress Garden in Yazoo City under the direction of Scott Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fannie W. Geralds was born March 13, 1911 to the late Andrew Wilson, Sr. and Annie Whooper Wilson on Schaffer Plantation in Yazoo County.  She was preceded in death by her companion, Charlie Geralds and sisters Agnes Green, Arlee Sutton and Hattie Rucker; and brothers Amos Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Jr., and Frank Wilson;l children Charllie Lewis and Lenard Lewis.  She was a midwife for over 30 years.  She leaves her memories to be cherished by her children, EsQueen Geralds (Riley) Benton, MS;  John Henry Murphy of Chicago, IL; Charlie James (Elizabeth) Geralds, Mary Jackson and Grover Geralds all of Marian, IN; Stella Combes of New Orleans, LA and Arthur Lee Haymer of Chicago, IL; 59 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild and two special sons she cared for as her own, Johnny Freeman and Lewis Gibbs. 

WILLIE WASHINGTON
Willie Henry Washington, Jr., 57, died on May 23, 2012  in Parchman.
Funeral services were held June 2 at the Century Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Brown officiating. Burial followed in Jonestown Cemetery in Yazoo City.
Mr. Washington was born the second of ten children to Willie and Clara Mae Washington on January 24, 1955 in Yazoo County.  He was a member of Tobeka M.B. Church. He attended Yazoo County Schools and received his GED while in Parchman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Harry and Mattie Williams; grandfather, Ulysses Washington; brothers, Alvin and W.L. Washington; and nephew, Raymond Washington.
Survivors include his daughter, Claretha Washington of Yazoo City; two step-daughters, Vanessa Plunkett of Indianapolis, Ind.  and Felicia McGhee of Atlanta, Ga.; three sons, Anthony Hoston of Yazoo City, Corey Washington and Willie Washington of Lexington, Kent.; three sisters, Anita Tombs of Yazoo City, Patricia Berry of Columbia, S.C. and Cassandra Myrick of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Marvin Washington of Columbia, S.C. and Stanley Washington of Yazoo City; grandmother,  Adhyitle Harvey; 18 grandchildren; and a great grandson.  
Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Hoston, Corey Washington, Willie Washington, Marvin Washington, Stanley Washington and Harry Williams.
Pallbearers were Walter Ross, George Shelton, Bear Sanders, Ron Tubb, Rodrick Williams, Patrick Williams, Purvis Littleton and Calvin Morris
