Darryl Gibbs, a Yazoo City native, was recently honored in the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40.
While most law school graduates seek the comfort of an established law firm to enhance their professional reputation, Gibbs chose a different route after law school.
He elected to join two other young attorneys to form their own law firm and make a mark on the Jackson legal community. In 2010, however, Gibbs and law partner Rogen Chhabra decided to form Chhabra & Gibbs, P.A.  
The Mississippi College School of Law graduate specializes in workers compensation and personal injury cases, and also serves the firm as managing partner.  
Gibbs says his most valuable personal skill may be his ability to work well with others, including establishing an amicable relationship with opposing counsel.  
The father of four children, he is active as a coach with the Madison Ridgeland Youth Club.  
He is the son of Marvin and  Natalie Gibbs, of Yazoo City.
A big New Orleans Saints fan, Gibbs enjoys hunting and fishing, and participating recreational sports with his family.
