Sheriff works to prevent summer burglaries

Many families take vacations during the summer time, and thieves often take advantage of their absence.
Yazoo County Sheriff Jake Sheriff hopes to make it much harder for burglars to target  homes while families are away by encouraging residents to call the sheriff’s department when they are leaving town for an extended period.
