While most little girls were busy playing with dolls or riding bikes, seven-year-old Ella Dixon was busy writing her first of many literary works.
The play, A Little Girl’s Blessing, was the start of a lifelong dream for Dixon that continues to this day.
Dixon can recall that first performance like it was yesterday.
“My brothers and sisters had different characters to perform for our family that Thanksgiving holiday,” Dixon said.
Even at such a young age, Dixon was determined to develop her writing skills. It was more than just a hobby for her. It had become her dream.
