A Yazoo City man remains in jail after he allegedly fractured the jaw of a woman during a heated altercation.
Marquis McGee was charged with aggravated assault.
McGee was charged on  Wednesday after investigators discovered how violent the  altercation became.
“Following his court appearance, McGee’s charge was upgraded to a felony after we found out the victim suffered a fractured jaw,” said Chief Eric Snow.
