Yazoo police imposter not linked to highway killer

Was he just a small time criminal with incredibly bad timing or a copycat imitating a method that never actually existed?
Those are questions that local law enforcement officers are pondering after the arrest of James Lucas last week.
During a time when people across the state were on edge due to reports that a pair of murders in north Mississippi that were believed to have been perpetrated by a police impersonator, Lucas, 45, was arrested in Yazoo City driving a car that was disguised to appear to be a law enforcement vehicle.
